Acquires Lecture Agency;
Forms Baltimore Worldwide Speakers Bureau
BALTIMORE, Oct. 21, 2003 – The Baltimore Speakers Bureau, a provider of professional lecturers and motivators, has acquired The Maryland Speakers Bureau and renamed the expanded company The Baltimore Worldwide Speakers Bureau, creating thereby an agency that can offer 150 speakers, facilitators and trainers to local, regional and national audiences.
The announcement was made by Ty Howard, a nationally known fulltime professional speaker who founded The Baltimore Speakers Bureau in 1998, and has continuously been expanding its roster of speakers and offering of topics.
“We have always focused on serving as wide an audience as possible with a diverse offering of speakers and subjects that can inspire, motivate, educate, as well as entertain,” said Howard. “This acquisition and our new name will enable us to expand our markets, exposure and client database, as well as attract a continuing array of quality speakers and trainers to meet virtually any client’s needs or event.”
Among the roster of speakers The Baltimore Worldwide Speakers Bureau can offer are nationally published authors, media personalities, religious authorities, professionals in various investment opportunities, university professors, attorneys, and motivational experts.
